Essay 1-03a: Joint moviecomparisons

Misaki and I are going to review the film version(s) of Robin Hood produced by Wolfgang Reitherman (1973) and Kevin Reynolds (1991). We chose these versions because we want to know about difference of anime and live-action.

Robin Hood produced by Kevin Reynolds is live-action. It was produced in 1991. Characters of this Robin Hood are Robin Hood, Azeem, Marian, Little John, George procurator, and Sir.Guy.This Robin Hood, at first, he was person waiting punishment. But, he ran away from prison with Azeem. Robin’s close friend in prison was scrificed to run away. Came back homeland, Robin saw his father be killed by George procurtor. George procurator not only killed Robin’s father but also caused people pain to aim getting power. Robin sweared revenging. But, he became a wanted man because Robin judged Sir.Guy, who George’s under, to help a boy be followen. Robin met again Marian, who king’s cousin and childhood friend. After that, they took refuge in the forest. In forest, they met Little John, who lead a rebel army to George. The rebel army didn’t have power, but Robin bringed it and became a real rebel army. This rebel army stole mony goods to patricians join George. After that they gave them to poor people and caused George pain. The people called Robin “Robin Hood”, and George’s accomplices were afraid of them. Adding a company, they thought it was favorable to rebel. But, George started counterattacking, and Marian was kidnaped because of his strategy. After that, the forest as rebel army’s hiding place was attacked and got a serious blow. Robin and leaving company went to final fighting a battle.

Seeing this movie, it is impact to see it at first. First at scene, prisoner was punished. Prisoner wa cut by axe. So, it can see historical background at that time, and it is thought it had a low standard of public. Robin’s close friend is very cougeus and kind person. Robin and Azeem can run away from prison, so he can run away from prison, too. But, he helped Robin to run away from prison. He may chose his close friend’s life than his life to help his close friend. When Robin sweared revenging because his father was killed by George, he has to revenge because don’t permit George. He is worst perso because he caused people pain to get power. Eveyone don’t want person likes him to be in power. Robin has an attraction to make people to attract because as soon as he came to forest, he became as a leader in rebel army. George is tenacious because he doesn’t permit wrong things he does himself. When Marian wae kidnaped by George, Robin may think he doesn’t want to be killed his company as his father, so he went to final fighting a battle.

Robin Hood produced by Reitherman is animation, and it is an American film produced by the Walt  Disney productions. It was produced in 1973.  All casts are animals. In this movie, Robin Hood is a fox, and Little john is a bear.  Robin Hood is in forest with chivarous robber. There, they stole money goods to rich people. After that, they gave them to poor people. Prince John caused people pain to do wrongdoing. So, Robin went to king for calling back to stop wrongdoing.

Seeing this movie, it is very ineresting. Maybe, Anime’s Robin Hood was made for small children because there are no battle, and characters are animals. So in forest, characters are fox, bear, chiken, and etc.

These two versions of Robin Hood, it has two same things.First, Robin was in forest, on there, he was with Little John. They stole money goods to patricians. After that, they gave money goods stolen to patricians to poor people. The poor people likes them. This way, two versions of Robin Hood are justice man to poor people. Second, it is thing about anemy. Although their name are different, they caused people pain to do wrong thing. So, they are worst men.

These two version of Robin Hood, it has three different things. First, there are battle scenes in Robin Hood. But, in anime, the battle scene is less than live-action. So, anime’s Robin Hood was made for small children. The live-action’s Robin Hood, it is cruel because there are scenes some people were killed in this Rovin Hood. Second, it is different from starting scenes. Anime’s, Robin was in forest with chivalrous robbers. But, live-action, Robin was prison, and he waited being punished. This things too, it is for small children. Final, it is different from last scenes. Anime’s, Robin go to king for calling back  to stop wrongdoings. But, live-action’s, Robin figths enemies for helping Marian. These things, it is though Anime’s Robin Hood was made for small children because battling scene is few.

History of my club

When I was elementary school student, I belonged to softball and soccer club. But, after mixing elementary schools, I belonged to soccer club only. After a year, I felt soccer is bored. So, I quitted it. After that, I belonged to mini-basketball club. It was interesting.

When I was junior school student, I wanted to belonged to basketball club. But, there was not basketball club in junior school. So, I belonged to track and field club to be up my physical. It was very tired. But, I liked it.

When I was high school student, I would belong to track and field again. But, I didn't find it practicing. So, I belonged to basketball club again. It is my best memory when I was student in elementary from high school.

BR 1-10: The Railway Children

This story is about poor family and rich man be on train. Poor family, their father left home. Three children went out, and saw train. In the train, there is man looks rich. One day, it was happening an accident on the railway. If the train went on the railway, it happened accident again. But, three children made the train stop, so it didn't happen any accidents. After that, a man looks rich helped their family. And, Their family could meet their father.

when I read this book, I think it is important to help each other. This man looks rich was helped by three children. If three children didn't help, he might dead. Not to get accidents, people must help each other. In Japan, it has happened accidents because of natural disasters. But, Japanese people help each other. So, to help each other is the most important we are living.

Essay prep: Robin Hood

When I watch movie "Robin hood", I think it is most interesting movie I have watched movies. Robin hood has a very strong sense of justice. He understands poor people, so he steals money and treasure to save poor people. I think this movie says if you rise to a higher position, you must not be wrong the way how to use a higher position.And, you should be kind to poor people. In the world, some people rise to a higher position. But, some people use wrong higher position. This problem should be gone. But, when it happens this problem, some people using wrong a higher position are always tried in court. So, like Robin hood, evils are alays tried in court, and lost it. In the world, some people are poor. So, we donate when there is fund-raising campaign. Robin hood is right person. So, we should be alive like Robin hood.

British circumstances

When I was 1^st year in university, I took British circumstances. I could know about British in this class. Ending oh this class, We had to write a summary about today's class. Under, I wrote four summary them.

Nov. 22^nd in 2012.

The Native called "Picts" is mean "painted men" because they painted their bodies. Hadrian wall was built in the time of the Emperor Hadrian. It is the Romans retreated to the south they built a stone wall with forts every mile as a defence against. The Scot Kenneth Mac Alpine was the first real king of Scotland. Scottish armies were defeated by Cromwell and Scotland, and it became part of the Commonwealth. Treaty of Union was signed where by Scotland became United England. Among the effects of this were the notorious "clearances" where by the people of the High lands were evicted from their homes by wealthy landowners and forced to live in extreme poverty.

The Lock Ness Monster called "Nessie" is one of the famous places. There is the Highland in Scotland and there is the Lowland in Southern and Eastern Scotland. The Clyde is Southern Scotland's river. It is located although in recent years the oil industry has expanded in Aberdeen to process North sea oil.

The Clans in Scotland has means children or family. The Massacre of Glencoe is one of the most famous episodes in the  history of clan feuds. Tartan is seen today as a symbol of the clan. It looks like check clothes. The other symbol of Scotland is rather more asthenic.

"Aud Lang Syne" is a Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788. It is well known in many countries, especially in the English-speaking world. The song's Scots title may be translated into English literally as "old long since", or more idiomatically, "long long ago", "days gone by" or "old times".

Robert Burns was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. He is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots language, although much of his writing is also in English and a light Scots dialect, accessible to an audience beyond Scotland. He also wrote in standard English, and in these his political or civil commentary is often at its bluntest.

Jan. 10^th in 2013.

In today's class, most interested is Wales had been invaded many times. At first, Wales was invaded by Romans in AD 43 and when Romans left Britain in 410, Wales was subject to invasion from the Irish in the west and the Anglo-Saxons in the east. Edward 1 decided to invade Wales in order to eliminate a potential threat to his kingdom.

When I heard about Wales' history, I thought why Romans, Irish, Anglo-Saxons, and Edward 1 invaded Wales and why they didn't invaded except Wales. I have taken British circumstances, I'm most interested in Wales' history. I think I want to research it.

I could know about British in this class, so I take British history in this year because I want to know more about British.

About my keitai

My mobile is docomo. My mobile functions are calling, sending and getting mails, games, and listening music. I almost use function of listening music. When I come to school and get home, I always listen music. But, I sleep in train when I'm tired. In university, I do reversi by my mobile when I'm free. Syougi is in my mobile, too. But, I can not do it. I know it. But, I don't know how to win. I send and get mails from high school friend in Hokkaidou. I will go to Amakusa with him in this summer vacation.

Driving school

I don't have a driving license, so I rid a car with my brother, or father. My mother had a driving license, but she doesn't have a car. I will go to driving school in this summer vacation. In university, it is too busy to go to driving school. So, I have only summer vacation to go to driving school. I will have engine stop many times. Afraid, it starts from hill. I think it is most difficult for me in driving school. If I get a driving license, I will practice starting from hill.

BR1-09: The Story of the Olympics

This story is about Olympics. This book say about first Olympics from recently Olympics. When I read it, I find first Olympics is different from recently Olympics. First Olympics had racing horseback. I think it is exciting. And, it had fighting before. It looks like boxing, but they had not have groves. They also used legs.

In Japan, Olympic in 2020 may be held in Tokyo. But, there are some candidacy be held Olympic in 2020. I want Olympic in 2020 to be held in Tokyo. World cup of soccer's preliminary, Japanese people made noise in Shibuya.News say it will be dangerous not to be held in Tokyo. But, a Japanese police protected noise. After that, he is called "DJ police". Care of him, I think Olympic  in 2020 may be held in Tokyo. Japan is good country. So, I hope Olympic is held in Tokyo.

Using the computer

I dislike using computer on Internet. I find using the micro-soft of words, excel, and power-point. But, I'm weak using the Internet. Because I have a computer, but it connects the Internet. So, I get used to using the Internet. I wanted to connect the Internet, but, my parents don't allow connecting the Internet. I have many things using the Internet in English classes. So, I can do it in only university. I do it when I have no class on space. Sometimes, I have to go to university to do home works on holiday.

Favorite place

I have a favorite place in university. This is library. I go there every weekday because there is quiet and good place. In library, there can not only read books but also listen CDs, watch DVDs, use computer. But, I hardly use facilities of listening CDs, watching DVDs. I read books or use computer there. Rather than otherwise, I use computer to study, do typing homework, and write blog there. Once a week, I read books there.

There are computers in 14th building, too. But, I don't want to use a computer there. Because some people study using computer, some people watch YouTube or speak with friends. I have studied using computer there. But, Watching YouTube, some people watch with large sounds. So, I could not study there concentrative. In library, we must be quiet. So, I can study there concentrative.

I like library in university very much. But, I have  a time when I dislike in library. This time is final test. Usually, there are some people using library. But, when it is final test, there are more people in library. Sometimes, it is too many people to study sitting the desk or table. Off course, I understand why there are many people in library when it is final test. They want to get credits. I think it is a matter of course. But, some people speaks with loud voice in library. I think it is nuisance to not only me but also people studying quietly in library.

I like quiet places. I live in quiet area. It is not town or city, is like village. I'm weak being bustling places. So, I want to know other quiet places.

BR1-08: The Story of Rubbish

This story is about town's dust. There are many dusts in town. If there is no dust in town, the town looks beautiful. When I was junior school student, I was thinking about enviroment as school active. That is how dusts reduce, how groval warming protect. So, when I read it, I remenbered when I was junior school days. Now, I take enviroment study in university. This class can know what the earth happen now. It can know things I don't know, I misunderstood. The same of this book, I think we should know right knowledge about enviroment.

My high school friend in university

I have high school friend in university. He belongs to economy department. I come to university with him three times a week. I talk to him about Japanese professional baseball, comics, TV, and foods.  I'm fan of Giants, but he says bad about Giants. Sometimes, I feel bad. But, I find he has no malice. He has many likes and dislikes foods. So, it warms up to speak about foods. He likes fresh vegetables, and he dislikes adding dressings. I can't understanding it.

I met him when I was high school student. I belonged to basketball club with him. At first, he was broken leg' bone. So, he watched we were practicing. My first impression to him was he be quiet. But,  he was very cheerful kind of person when he recovered completely broken bone. I was very surprised. I though what my first impression was. when my senior in club retired, he was chosen captain. After that, I played basketball games with him.

On now, I don't belong to basketball club, too him. Because it is too busy to play basketball. He played basketball in P.E when he was 1st grade in university. I want to play basketball. But, I didn't chose it in P.E. So, I haven't played basketball since March 1st in 2012.

American circumstances

I took American circumstances when I was 19. It was very interesting. One day, I had to make fiction story through an American true accident. I made it about Tree Mile Island nuclear power plant accident. It was difficult to make it. I'm weak making fiction story. But, I could make it.

Tree Mile Island nuclear power plant accident

     Anthony' brother lived in tree mile island. They were working pastures. Their pastures were only pastures in tree mile island. Older Anthony' pasture had many horses, cows, and sheep. So, his pasture was famous for many domestic animals. The milks and butter his pasture made were delicious. So people in tree mile island relied on his pasture. Younger Anthony' pasture was not more famous than older Anthony's. But, their pastures were damaged by that accident.

     That accident is tree mile island power plant accident. This accident happened after 4 A.M in March 28, in 1979. Tree mile island  power plant accident is abbreviated TM I accident. It damaged not only human being but also domestic animals. Damage of human being increased in dead person of cancer in outskirts of tree mile island nuclear power plant. And, infant of the death rate also increased. Next is damage of animals and plants. The area of wild animals and plantations of domestic animals were binged disaster of death and that of illness by radioactive fallout. But, agricultural cooperative association in Pennsylvania negated it.

     Anthony' brothers' pastures also were damaged by tree mile island nuclear power plant accident. Older Anthony' domestic animals were getting sicker and sicker. He was  very sad. So, it was difficult for him to keep working it. Younger Anthony, too. After tree years, Anthony' brothers moved in the distance to start pasture again. It hopes to become a famous pastures again.

My favorite movie(s)

I don't see movies and go to theater now. But, my childhood, I saw Ziburi by Hayao Miyazakii. The Ziburi works, I like "Sen and Chihiro are spirited away" the best. It is very interesting.
I want to go to theater after a long time. But, I'm busy in university. So, I have no time going to theater. The worst of it is that there is no big theater in Yatsushiro city. I have to go to Ogawa to see a movie. It takes long times going there. So, I borrow rental DVDs to see instead of going to theater.

BR1-07: East oh the Sun, West of the Moon

"East of the Sun, West of the Moon" is story about a youngest sister. I read it, I feel this story is very interesting. First, appearing a white bear. This white bear appears into the door standing. This white bear is not real bear. But, if I see a white bear standing in front of the door when I open the door, I'm very surprised, too. I have never seen a white bear directly, even if normal bear. Although I feel bears is dangerous because I have seen the news about appearing the bear, I want to see a bear directly.

The white bear is a man. He lives in own castle. with her. I think the man is shy. But, I have a doubt. In the night, he said "I must go to castle there be troll queen." And, he had gone in the morning. Then, the girl is in forest when she waked up. Why is not she in his castle? Why did she sleep in forest? It is funny.

After waked up, she met North Wind, South Wind, East Wind, and West Wind. They are different from characters. I think it is interesting because each winds have each merit. Finally. she helps the man with four wind. I think this story is interesting and good.
